MISSION
At Sisters Hand Mental Health Services. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for all of our participants by assisting them in achieving their individual goals and objectives while enabling them to maintain independence. We strive to assist in changing the negative stigma surrounding mental health while creating a positive impact on all that we serve.
Adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)
Our Adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) is intended to prevent hospitalization in an inpatient setting and serve as an alternative. The rehabilitative needs of individuals with acute or chronic difficulties affecting their mental health needs are met by our PRP program. In addition to skill development, our clients receive moderate to intense support. The program trains participants to operate in residential, educational, and social settings either on their own or with the assistance of a caregiver. With our help, clients can pinpoint self-directed objectives and create a strategy for achieving them.
Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)
Our Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) aims to assist young people in developing their behavior, social skills, self-management abilities, and family relationships. The program empowers the clients to accomplish specific personal goals and objectives, ultimately leading to greater independence. PRP services are provided in an environment that encourages youth engagement in the community and acquisition of the necessary skills to overcome challenges. The intensity of PRP services varies depending on the youth's diagnosis, environment, and other factors.

Psychotherapy and counseling are critical components of the recovery process. At A Sister's Hand, licensed therapists provide emotional support, education, and guidance to both the individual and the family. Play therapy is essential for children to tell their stories, and group therapy helps adults tell theirs. We’ve also included information to familiarize you with evaluation, case management, and medication management procedures.
